Pre-paid Calling
Unused minutes do not expire. This service is often the best choice for people that
do not have a "landline" telephone connected and home and only use a cellphone,
but wish to save a lot of money by not using the cellphone from home (or anyplace you
have a broadband internet connection). These rates do not include an incoming
number (DID). You do not need a DID to make long distance calls. Pre-paid
is also a good idea for a small business that has a few employees and would like
to buy only one 'unlimited plan'. You would use one number primarily for your
long distance calling, but you would have a few dollars pre-paid for each extension
so that you could make simultaneous out-going calls. Check our
calling rates Many people that make very few calls are very happy
with a prepaid calling plus a DID (incoming number). |

Definitions
ATA Analogue Telephone Adapter. An ATA is an electronic
device that converts traditional telephones into digital signals to transmit them
over the internet. It also converts internet digital signals into traditional
telephone signals. An ATA allows you to use the telephones you already have.
You will use your telephones normally. They will ring, answer, hang-up and
make calls just like you do now. Calls to 911 are
much different.
DID "direct inward dial" This is a number that can
be dialed by the public. It will ring the telephone(s) that you choose.
Unlimited Unlimited means unlimited use for individuals and
traditional businesses. These plans do not apply to telemarketing, call centers,
or any business in which telephone calls are the primary source of activity.
This also meand you may not purchase an Unlimited Individual plan and use it for
business. Each ONE unlimited plan allows for calls out and in for one DID
number.
Read the service agreement.
