Rain started at approximately 19:40 hours local time.  We were over at the dragstrip looking at the local racers when the rain started to fall. So it was back to the kart track to see if people that race karts are more manly than those nascar guys. You know nascars... if someone in North Carolina spills a drink, then Nascar will cancel a race in Texas.   Not the kart racers.   Look at the spray from these tires..... and these are slicks, not rain tires!

At 8 hours here are the standings. The listings are in the order of the team ranking at 4 hours so you get an idea if they are moving up or down overall.   I have not been adding the class information. So some of these teams might actually be winning.

I had a chance to talk with some of the drivers during the rain. I learned that they are not allowed to place the extra weight where they desire, they are not even able to change tire pressures. The promoter sets the tire pressures equally in all the karts!  Watching these karts in the rain is extra exciting.
